Sophie is proud to have led the Migration Museum since its inception in 2011, when the project was little more than an idea championed by a small, enthusiastic group of people, to where we now are with a thriving museum in Lewisham Shopping Centre and the real prospect of a permanent home in the City of London allied to a network of venues across the UK.
In her previous life, Sophie was an immigration barrister, practising from Tooks Court, Chambers of Michael Mansfield QC, also sitting as a judge of the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal and Social Security and Child Support Tribunal.
