Saturday 3 June 2023 11am–3pm Free – Donations welcomed Join us this half-term for a fun day of free activities suitable for the whole family, including: Cross-stitch greetings card making: Take home a greetings card that you’ve made yourself with a heart or gingerbread person design. The workshop will be led by Amanda Hilton, whose mother came to the UK as a refugee from Austria in 1938, aged 11.  The heart design is based on the cross-stitch tablecloth Amanda’s mother brought with her to this country.  Gingerbread biscuits, an Austrian treat, will be available to try (allergies permitting).  The tablecloth and other family momentoes, including photographs, will be on display. Bracelet making, fridge-magnet designing, an around the world picnic activity and colouring in your own poster, led by Patrick Adom, founder of Very Puzzled No booking needed – drop in anytime from 11am–3pm to join in the fun!
