Katy is the Retail Manager at the Migration Museum. She oversees the award-winning shop and online shop. Since joining the museum in 2023, she has been committed to offering products that can inspire, educate, or delight on the theme of migration whilst supporting the museum and migrant-run small businesses through the Migrant Makers Market.
After studying Mathematics, she worked in fashion buying and merchandising for several years before moving to work in charity merchandise and ecommerce. In March 2024, the Migration Museum was awarded Best Shop at the Cultural Enterprise Awards, and Katy won the Rising Star award. As a Lewisham resident, she is proud to serve her local communities through her work at the Migration Museum.
